This sweater is inspired by Daenerys Targaryen, a character from the popular book series “A Song of Ice and Fire” by George R.R. Martin (there is also a TV series based on the books). Daenerys first appears as a weak character, subject to the will of others, until she finds her inner strength and eventually she is able to confront and overcome her fears. It is then when she takes control of her life. Dracarys means “dragon’s fire” (in High Valiryan); and, as it happens with her three dragons, inner fire is what gives her the strength to fight for her destiny.

Dracarys Sweater is worked top-down with a circular yoke. The gauge is intentionally loose to create a great fabric that drapes nicely
as you walk.
